General Liability Waivers must be used for Sports Participants.

A General Liability Waiver Form allows for "informed consent" by the participant. It is an effective way to ensure that event organizers have acted with due diligence in informing the participant of the potential risks to which he/she may be exposed while participating in the event.

The waiver allows for a clear indication to the participant that the event/organization does not assume any responsibility for the risks, dangers and hazards associated with participation in the event.

A waiver normally included assumption of risks and responsibilities by the participant.

Waivers must be completed by all participants of a sports team, league or association. The Policyholder must keep the completed waivers on file.
